What is Bio-filler?

Natural autologous bio-filler utilizes a person's own blood plasma (autologous) and concentrated growth factors, or CGF, to produce a gel matrix that can be injected under the skin for restoration of collagen and skin elasticity and the treatment of fine lines, wrinkles, loss of skin volume, lip volumization and enhancement, hair loss especially in androgenic alopecia or alopecia aerata, scars and acne scars, and much more.

One major advantage of bio-filler over animal, bacterial, or synthetically produced filler is its ability to re-activate and restore the natural dermal regeneration process allowing skin tissue to literally heal itself.

Bio-filler benefits include:

  • Great alternative to animal or bacteria derived hyaluronic acid injections such as Juvederm or Restylane

  • Lasts longer and is more cost effective compared to other fillers

  • Very little to no risk of anaphylactic or allergic reaction.

  • Lip volumization and enhancement

  • Reduced lines and wrinkles on neck, hands, and face

  • Reduced appearance of acne scars

  • Facial volumization

  • Hair restoration

  • Elimination of spot tissue

  • Cell regeneration

  • Facial lipostructure restoration

  • Cellulite

  • Improvements in skin texture and dryness

Bio-filler can be prepared and injected for wrinkle augmentation during the same appointment, the entire process and procedure lasts around 90mins.

This bio-filler gel can be used to augment fine lines and wrinkles as well as to give definition to different areas of the face. Bio-filler is made by separating and processing the plasma from a patient’s own blood and then injecting it to volumize, lift, and rejuvenate face, neck and hands.

Bio-filler has the same color and form as autologous fat. Bio-filler is processed in front of the patient and can be customized to create the perfect viscosity required for any area being worked on.

What Does a Typical Treatment Consist of?

During the appointment, we will take between 10 and 20 ml of your blood which is then centrifuged for a specified amount of time, filtered, and processed to create the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and bio-filler gel. Bio-filler will be injected to treat the desired areas and to lift and rejuvenate areas that have suffered volume loss. This treatment also achieves bio-stimulation with stem cells and growth factors assisting in the production of new collagen.

The first results are visible immediately after the initial treatment and effects of the new collagen production can be seen after a couple of weeks. After a couple of months, the plasma gel is naturally and completely absorbed into the treated area.

A course of 3 sessions with a 4-week interval is generally recommended. The results can last anywhere between 18 and 36 months when all 3 sessions are done and especially when combined with PRP serum injections.

Is Bio-filler Safe and Effective?

Bio Filler has been validated by clinical trials that demonstrate the safety and efficacy of this procedure in improving fine lines and folds in the face.

A clinical study on the usefulness of autologous plasma filler in the treatment of nasolabial fold wrinkles.

CONCLUSION:

The clinical improvement with sufficient patients' satisfaction and no significant adverse events demonstrated that novel autologous plasma filler could be considered as efficient and safety treatment option for nasolabial fold wrinkles.

Assessment of the efficacy and safety of platelet poor plasma gel as autologous dermal filler for facial rejuvenation

CONCLUSION:

Autologous platelet poor plasma gel injection seems to be a cost-effective, safe, well-tolerated, and minimally invasive technique producing significant aesthetic correction of facial wrinkles and tear trough deformity.
