What is Plaquex?

Plaquex is a special form of Phosphatidylcholine (PC) that can be administered via either the oral route or IV (intraveinously). PC makes up about 60-70% of human cellular membranes. Almost all of the cells in the human body are made up of a lipid (fat) bi-layer called the cellular membrane. These membranes are vitaly important for protecting cells from being attacked or damaged by host immune system, bacteria, viruses, molds, and toxins.

Cellular membranes are also important for cell-to-cell communicatioin, which is often disrupted in chronic diseases including cancer and auto-immunity. Cellular membranes can be damaged by a variety of different factors including infectious agents, toxins such as heavy metals and herbacides, pesticides, free radicals, radiation, and certain medications.
